Wrangler exhibition,
STUNT, held at the
Air Gallery on London’s Dover Street. Encompassing a sneak preview of their SS11 advertising campaign of the same name, American photographer
Cass Bird has triumphed co-creating one of the most action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled campaigns I’ve seen for several years.
Comprising part of Wrangler’s
We Are Animals series;
STUNT features four real life Hollywood stunt professionals performing truly hair-raising feats of ingenuity, captured on the streets of NYC and in the legendary
Paramount Studios in Los Angeles – where films such as Indiana Jones and Spiderman were filmed.
With a lesser-known history in the world of cinema,
STUNT brings back to life part of the Wrangler heritage, having dressed the first stunt professionals who starred in Western films.
Of her groundbreaking images, project photographer Cass Bird says:
“It’s rare that I get commissioned in a commercial vain to have an experience as well as produce work that is equally adventurous and risk-taking. The Wrangler STUNT campaign required a lot of fearlessness and trust - qualities not often found in such projects.”
